Rambus – Cryptography Products Group has an opening for a project manager/coordinator within a dynamic ~10 person technical/engineering team. This position combines management, technical, and administrative/operational skills, and is based in San Francisco.

 

The team develops and delivers unique security products including software and ASIC code deliverables, analysis systems, and trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Project tracking, coordinate activities within this engineering group and with other groups
    • Define and track projects’ progress through milestones and deliverables
    • Coordinate and schedule with additional engineering groups
    • Coordinate with other company divisions (sales, marketing, IT, legal)
  • Inventory management for internal and customer projects
    • Ordering and tracking of components
    • Interface to finance/accounting for records and reporting
  • Manage customer portal, for support contacts and accounts
  • Shipping and export control
    • Work with freight companies for shipments, packing slips, invoices, labels, etc.
    • Customs and carnet equipment shipment
    • Export control, interacting with legal, customers, and audits
  • Training coordination (on-site and remote)
    • Coordinate product/customer training including travel, shipments, and venues
    • Work with marketing to publish information to website
    • Training logistics including registrations, payments, room setup, amenities

 

Qualifications

.

  • Microsoft Project
  • Experience with MS Project, or with equivalent tool and willing to learn Project
  • CRM (Salesforce)
  • Experience with CRM systems and willing to learn Salesforce
  • Tech-sector experience
  • Familiar with general software or hardware development processes
  • Candidates should have good organizational skills and interact well with technical team members and customers
