OVERVIEW
Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Memory Controller Design Lead to join our Rambus Memory & MIPI Controller Group (MCG) team in Hillsboro, Oregon location. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.
As a Memory Controller Design Lead, the candidate will be reporting to Senior Director Engineering and is a Full Time position.
Relocation and sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing/Sales and Memory Controller Team to define and execute the product strategy including roadmap, architecture, etc.
- Ensure the product complies with all aspects of MCG development standards
- Ensure product documentation is complete and up to date
- Create project plans including feature sets, schedule, and effort estimates
- Ensure projects are properly planned and executed on schedule
- Maintain design team resource plan
- Set and manage design team priorities
- Review weekly status reports from the design team and make plan adjustments as needed
- Provide a weekly status report
- Hold weekly design team meetings
- Perform annual performance reviews
- Support pre-sales technical engagements
- Assist in resolution of critical customer issues
- Oversee management and resolution of bugs
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong project and people communication and management skills
- Strong Verilog RTL design and verification expertise
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
- 5+ years of ASIC/FPGA logic design/verification experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- BSEE
Definite Plus:
- Personnel management experience
- Configuration and bug management experience
- ASIC synthesis, timing constraint, CDC/RDC, verification experience
- Memory (HBM, GDDR, LPDDR, DDR) expertise
- Located in the Portland, Oregon area
