Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) to join our Memory Interface Chip team in San Jose. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a SMTS, the candidate will be reporting to VP Engineer  and is a Full Time position. The candidate will be part of a design team of new high performance and high efficient PMICs for DDR5 and various other new memory technologies to help grow the business for the Memory Interface Chip Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Develop DDR5 Server and Client PMICs and bring them to mass production.
• Develop new products for next generation of memory technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree with 7+ years of professional experience
• Strong background in Power Management devices, Design experience in step up, step down buck regulator devices as well LDO devices
• Constant On Time Buck Regulator Architecture & In-depth knowledge and design experience
• Familiarity with TSMC, UMC, SMIC, Dongbu BCD technologies
• Packaging technologies for power management devices
• Ability to document design techniques, test methodology
• Interface with debug, test, product and reliability engineers for product qualification
• Interface with application engineers for customer support

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership. The US salary range for this full-time position is $131,500 to $230,100.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
