Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Layout Designers  to join our  Buffer Layout team in Bangalore. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a PE Layout Design Engineer, the candidate will be reporting to  Sr Engineering Manager and is a Full-Time position. This position is for a senior layout designer will be working with IDC and other locations as needed. He will be responsible for the layout design and coordination of layout execution across different location. Mostly working on planar technology with high current blocks and high drive ICs

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of layout designers and accomplishing successful TO
• Coordinating with schematic designers online/offline and plan the layout execution for team
• Tracking and managing schedule for the layout activity and making sure the project is executed on time.
• Set up reviews and keep an eye for quality all the time.

Qualifications

• 12+years of experience with minimum of 2 tapeouts completed as the lead layout designer
• Having lead a team of layout designers for at least 4 projects.
• BE/ME/Equivalent in Electronics/Microelectronics/VLSI
