The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes including: Fundraising, Marketing, Outreach and our core program business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with XXX+ users
  • Perform Salesforce Administrator functions including but not limited to profiles mgmt, user mgmt, roles, workflows, leads, opportunities, permissions, and rules
  • Develop and improve reports, dashboards, and supporting process flows to provide reliable, accurate, and timely visibility into our Salesforce.com data
  • Define end user requirements and functional specifications, solution design and developing solutions for new development requests for Salesforce and third party integrations
  • Work with the user management team to drive different business unit’s processes to a homogeneous business processes
  • Support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
  • Creates, monitors, and updates detailed project plans. Helps establish work plans and assists with the staffing for each phase of projects, including recruitment / assignment of personnel
  • Reviews and provides input into project scope definitions. Coordinates development and approval of the business and technical requirements documents
  • Drives a process to standardize changes within Salesforce
  • Represents the company with contractors, vendors, and other parties as required Influencing leaders to balance competing priorities
  • Performs configuration setups to support business needs, identifies impacts of configuration changes
  • Represent the Salesforce application in acquisition and divestiture projects

Qualifications

  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT
  • 5+ years of work experience in a large-scale Salesforce environment
  • Strong understanding of the Sales business process
  • Business Analyst experience
  • Experience documenting and analyzing sales processes, procedures, and/or policies
  • Proficient in data manipulation, data cleaning, and report creation
  • Ability to create objects and custom workflows
  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Excellent project management, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple applications
