Rambus is seeking an experienced payroll professional based in Bangalore. This individual will report to Director Accounting

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for India payroll. The key responsibilities will be the following

• Coordinating with HR and Payroll vendor on Payroll Inputs and output,
• Taxation and coordination for Stock related compensation
• Analyze payroll variances
• Payroll Accounting and reconciliation
• Coordination on Provident Fund, Professional Tax and payment of Tax Deduction at Source
• Experience of handling employee induction programs, close employee engagement
• Preparation of employee final settlement calculations and coordinating with external agencies on payments adhering to agreed TATs
• Gratuity Calculations and accounting of Gratuity Trust
• Coordination on enrollment of National Pension Scheme
• Support payroll process review during Internal Audit, Statutory Audit
• Manage all compliances wrt Payroll

Qualifications

• The Candidate must be a graduate in commerce and have 8-10 years of relevant experience in handling payroll.
• Must possess a thorough understanding and clarity on Indian Income Tax rules and procedures on Payroll and related income, Provident fund, Gratuity, Professional Tax and Pension
• Good Accounting knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret payroll data

Good written and oral communication skills: Ability to interact and comprehensively address employee queries and carry out induction for new employees
