Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer to join our DAR Security IP team in Vught. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Software development for our library of Security IP blocks. In this full-time role, you’ll report directly to your local R&D Team Lead. Our DAR Security IP Team is dedicated to provide high-value security IP for use in a wide range of applications, and your contributions will be instrumental in the implementation, verification and integration of the embedded software.
Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most officebased roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.
Responsibilities
- Design embedded software (C/C++/assembly code) for secure silicon IPs
- Implementation: software design, lint, build & release
- Verification: execute basic verification and assist verification team to complete the embedded software verification
- Participate in technical reviews
- Preparation of product documentation
- Interact with fellow engineers to help ensure successful development of high value
- products
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science or comparable
- Basic understanding of Embedded Software development process
- Good level in English is required
- Team Interaction
- Attendance
- Reading and writing of documentation
- Experience with hardware design (FPGA or ASIC) is a plus
- Affinity with Security/Cryptography is a plus
